Dive Rite's line of harnesses allow you to custom fit stainless steel or aluminum backplates to fit your various diving needs. Harnesses are designed with waist, shoulder D-rings, and a quick release chest strap and can have any of Dive Rite's BC accessories or cutting devices affixed to them.

Backplates are available in aluminum or polished stainless steel. While stainless steel backplates are among the most popular, some divers who require a small amount of weight to be added to their configuration prefer an aluminum backplate. Saltwater divers often prefer stainless backplates for their resistance to corrosion and the fact that they are several pounds more negatively buoyant, which helps offset the additional buoyancy of saltwater.
